Where Did The Beatles Come From??
The Beatles originated in Liverpool, England where all four of them were born. The Beatles first began performing frequently at a club called The Cavern Club in Liverpool which is still open to this day. Begining from 1961 to 1963 The Beatles made 292 appearances at the club, with their last occurring on August 3,1963, a month after the band recorded “She Loves You” and just six months before the Beatles’ first trip to the U.S. Brian Epstein first listened to the band at this club and offered to become their manager, in which the young band accepted (Spitz).
The Beatles were extremely popular in the U.K. which eventually spread to the United States after their song, "I Want To Hold Your Hand" was first requested on the radio.

The Fab Four appeared on "The Ed Sullivan Show" several times. Their first appearance on February 9 is considered a milestone in American pop culture and the beginning of the British Invasion in music. The broadcast drew an estimated 73 million viewers, at the time a record for an American television program, and was characterized by an audience composed largely of screaming teenage girls in tears. They also performed at Shea Stadium in one of the most significant concerts in music history, with a record of over 55,000 people attending. The Beatles' concert was the first to be held at an important stadium and was sucessful in setting records in making profit and attendance. It proved that large scale, outdoor concerts could be sucessful. "Beatlemania" was at its highest point (Neech).

It shows the life, history, time, music, and culture of the Fab Four through interactive exhibits and has some really cool special exhibits on John Lennon and plenty of unseen photographs, etc. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Located right here in Cleveland, OH, the Beatles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the 1988 induction ceremony. They also feature special behind the scenes, Help! exhibit featuring the movie, Help! made by the Beatles.
